Patron Compliance Solutions
About

Built by compliance people, for compliance people.

Patron Compliance Solutions started because motor carriers deserved a partner who knew the regs cold and answered the phone. Today we serve nearly 200 carriers — from owner-operators to multi-yard fleets — across the country, with a Florida-rooted team that lives and breathes DOT.

Florida-based. Family-owned. National reach.

Nearly 200 motor carriers across the country trust Patron with their DOT compliance — because we answer the phone, we know your file, and we run your program like it's our own.

We answer the phone.

When a driver gets stopped, when an MVR comes back funny, when the audit letter arrives — you don't get a ticket queue, you get a person who already knows your file.

We do the work.

DQ files built, MVRs pulled, queries run, drug screens scheduled, MCS-150s filed. We're an extension of your back office, not a self-serve tool.

We tell you the truth.

If something isn't compliant we say so, on the spot. No surprises in an audit. The honest answer beats the comfortable one every time.

Management Team

The Compliance All-Stars.

When you call Patron, you reach one of these six. Decades of combined experience inside DOT compliance, drug & alcohol consortium administration, driver recruiting, fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and the day-to-day work that keeps clients audit-ready.

Marc Nault

Director of Compliance · Owner
STTCPCBATTrainer

Marc has over 30 years in commercial insurance and risk management, including 17 years as a DOT compliance professional. He and his team currently service over 200 clients across the United States.

Marc has shielded countless clients through hundreds of federal and state Compliance Reviews and investigations. Along the way he's built professional relationships with State Highway Patrol and FMCSA auditors, and developed a program of practical compliance tools and internal audit methods — Policies & Procedures, hiring standards, driver and manager training, and audit-investigation protocols — used across virtually every segment of the transportation industry.

He provides FMCSA compliance webinars and seminars nationwide and is a frequent speaker at local and regional association meetings. He has served on compliance panels for the National Limo Association and provided Accredited Continuing Education seminars for the Florida Groundwater Association.

Marc is a Certified Screen Test Technician (STT), Certified Specimen Collector (CPC), Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT), and certified trainer — and deeply proficient in FMCSA regulations.

Compliance is his focus. Liability mitigation is the result.

Compliance Specialist · Senior Drug Screen Collector
Former CDL DriverCertified CollectorSTTBAT

Kevin spent years behind the wheel as a CDL driver before joining Patron, which means he reads regulations the way a working driver reads a logbook — practically, not theoretically. He knows how rules apply on a Wednesday morning at a fuel stop, not just on paper in an audit room.

On the Patron side he runs reasonable-suspicion intake, coordinates random pool selections, and trains client supervisors on the indicators that justify a test. As a Certified Specimen Collector, Screening Test Technician, and Breath Alcohol Technician, Kevin can step in and run a collection or breath test himself when a client is in a bind.

If you're ever in a roadside situation and need a real DOT answer fast, Kevin's the call.

Director of Finance & Operations
OperationsAR / APBilling Reconciliation

Ashley runs the operational and financial side of Patron — accounts payable and receivable, vendor invoice reconciliation, monthly client billing, payroll, and the day-to-day workflow that keeps the rest of the team moving.

With years of experience in AR/AP, she's built the rigorous reconciliation discipline that lets Patron bill clients accurately every cycle — every MVR, PSP, background check, drug screen collection, and DQ file build-out tagged, cross-checked against the vendor invoice, and posted to QuickBooks.

She's also the team member most likely to spot when a process needs to change — and the one who actually changes it.

Mike is a detail oriented US Navy Veteran with a deep understanding of what it takes to maintain assets and the related records. As a Jet Electrician there is no room for mistakes and he has the commendations to reflect the skills and commitment needed to succeed in that environment.

Also, having a long tenure as a facilities manager in Long Term Care has added to this attention to detail in having to complete annual facility audits with the Department of Public Health and Safety. Having a near flawless record over a decade with these audits and the integral personal skills in serving the staff and residents.

Bringing these and many other skills to the Patron Team has been an honor and a privilege for him in order to serve our clients with the same level of attention and commitment.
